Legal framework

This policy is governed by Peruvian Law No. 29733 on the Protection of Personal Data and its Regulation approved by Supreme Decree No. 016-2024-JUS, under the supervision of the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPD) of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.

1. Data we collect

• Contact details: name, phone/WhatsApp number and email address, when you book a service, message us on WhatsApp Business or subscribe to our promotions.
• Usage data: your booking and visit history, if you use our app or queue system.
• Payment data: processed by the payment gateway or digital wallet you choose (Yape, Plin, card). DuoLavandería does not store full card details.
• Complaints book and requests: what you write in your sheet or request (name, ID, address or e-mail and the detail), to handle it and keep its record.
• Video surveillance: the premises have security cameras to protect people and property.

2. Purpose of processing

We use your data to:

• Manage bookings and service in the shop.
• Answer your questions on WhatsApp Business and other channels.
• Handle your complaints and your requests about your data, and keep their record as the law requires.
• Send you promotions and news, only if you consented.
• Keep the premises secure.
• Meet our legal obligations.

3. Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed: your account data, while you have an account; the complaints book sheets and the requests about your data, at least two years; payment receipts, as long as tax law requires; and camera recordings, only as long as the video surveillance rules allow.

4. Processors, third parties and international transfer

The system is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with servers in the United States: your data travels outside Peru, with the safeguards the law requires. Others also work with us, each with only what they need: the payment gateway, electronic invoicing before SUNAT, the e-mail service and WhatsApp Business (Meta). All of them must protect your information.

5. Data banks

Your data is part of the data banks of Duolavanderia SAC: customers, complaints and requests, staff and video surveillance. These banks are registered in the National Register for the Protection of Personal Data.

6. Security

We protect your data with technical and organisational measures: access only for whoever needs it, encrypted connections and a record of what is done with it. If a security incident affects your data, we report it to the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data and tell you within 48 hours.

7. Your rights

You can ask for information, access, rectification, cancellation, opposition or portability of your data, free of charge, by writing to contacto@duolavanderia.com or at the shop, with a copy of your ID. We answer within the legal deadlines: between 8 and 20 business days, depending on the right.

8. Cookies

This site uses only what it needs to work: your account session and your language. It uses no advertising or analytics cookies. The Google map on the Location page loads only when you ask for it, and then Google may use its own cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it was last updated.
